"Diseases of the digestive system are very frequent in our environment and greatly affect the quality of life of people; colon and stomach cancer occupy the first 5 places in incidence and mortality in Costa Rica.
Personally, I am passionate about the diagnosis and treatment of early esophageal, stomach and colon cancer. Early detection of a cancer that can later compromise a patient's life and avoid invasive treatment are my main motivation to work every day".
